Digital coworker role · AI Reporting Analyst

An AI reporting analyst that never prints a number it can’t trace.

It pulls from your systems with read-only access, assembles KPI packs, management reports, and review decks on schedule, and checks every figure against its source before anything ships.

§ 01The job

What it does, day to day.

  1. 01

    Scheduled KPI packs

Weekly or monthly reports delivered to Teams or email, built the same way every time.

  2. 02

    Ad-hoc questions

Answers “how many, how long, which customers” with the query and sources attached.

  3. 03

    Management decks

Builds review decks and Word reports on your template and checks them visually before delivery.

  4. 04

    Operational visibility

Surfaces stale, overdue, or at-risk work so managers don’t have to trawl through queues.

  5. 05

    Quality analytics

Reviews ticket and communication quality for coaching: completeness, clarity, expectation-setting, and timeliness.

  6. 06

    Data exports

Produces clean, documented exports for audits, compliance, and quarterly reviews.

§ 02Control

You set the limits. We measure the return.

Waits for a person

  • New data sources or tables
  • Distribution beyond the agreed audience
  • Any write to a system of record

What we measure

  • Analyst hours per report
  • On-time delivery
  • Figures with a traceable source
  • Questions answered without a ticket to IT
§ 03Systems

Connects to the tools your team uses.

  • SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • HaloPSA reports
  • Power BI exports
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Word

Examples, not a fixed list. We build a connector scoped to exactly what this role needs, through an API, MCP server, command-line tool, or tested steps recorded from your team’s own workflow.

§ 05FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Can it run SQL against our database safely?

Through a read-only connector: SELECT-only queries, limited to an allowlist of tables, with credential-like columns blocked and saved reports pinned so they can’t be swapped.

How do we know the numbers are right?

Every figure is tied to its query or source record. Workbooks are recalculated and must come back with zero formula errors, and each page is rendered and inspected before delivery.

Does it replace Power BI or our BI tool?

No. It fills the gap between the dashboard and the decision: written reports, decks, and answers to questions nobody built a chart for.

We’ll sit down with the people who do it, map the steps, and put a number on the time. If a digital coworker is the right tool, you’ll know what it would return before you commit. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.
